Robinson
Red Hot To Resign Northern
Ireland Hot Seat
With
pressure mounting on Peter
Robinson, Paddy
Power
have slashed the odds on a new
Northern Ireland First Minister
in 2010 from 1/2 (1.5) to 1/5
(1.2) and are offering odds
of just 2/5 (1.4) that the
Executive is dissolved this
year.
Punters
have also put their cash behind
Nigel Dodds to take over the hot
seat from Robinson and he is now
a red hot 2/5
(1.4) favourite to be next
First Minister.
Dodds
had been 6/5 (2.2) when
betting was first released on
Friday but has been backed
relentlessly over the
weekend.
Gerry
Adams is also under pressure but
is rated 9/4 (3.25) outsider
to leave his position before
Robinson.
Paddy
Power said, "The vultures seem to
be circling for Peter Robinson
and punters havent been shy
about trying to cash
in."
