Leading
Online Gaming Provider Chooses
A10 Networks
A10
Networks has announced that Game
Flier, a leading online gaming
provider in Taiwan, chose two of
A10's AX 2100 Advanced Traffic
Managers to enhance its end
users' online gaming
experience.
The
AX 2100 is one of A10's five
next-generation server load
balancer models, delivering a
scalable platform capable of
handling high-volume applications
such as Game Flier's gigabit
throughput online gaming Web
portal system.
With
300 employees, 10,000 to 20,000
users online at any given time
and a growing user base, Game
Flier needed a highly reliable
and scalable Web Application
Delivery platform to limit
bottlenecks from online gaming
customers to its systems. To meet
this need, Game Flier desired the
highest performance server load
balancer solution on the market
at the most competitive price. In
a recent independent third-party
test report from the Tolly Group,
A10's AX 2100 was determined to
deliver four to ten times the
performance at less than half the
price of F5's BIG-IP
3400.
"We
chose A10's AX Series because it
is the best price/performance
server load balancer on the
market and the first in the Web
application delivery market that
is tuned for multi-core CPU
systems to receive the
performance benefits of modern
hardware architectures," said Mr.
Rick Ku, MIS assistant chief at
Game Flier. "The A10 team is
staffed with Layer 4-7 networking
experts that carefully designed
the server load balancing
solution for our exact
high-performance network and
gaming Web portal
needs."
